Classification Talk
Reese Barker is a Registered Nurse with St. Luke’s Health System and a lifelong connection to the Rotary organization that spans every stage of her life. A first-generation American, who learned English in kindergarten, raised in Boise and McCall, her Rotary journey began in high school through Interact, hosting exchange students during the McCall Winter Carnival, and receiving a Rotary college scholarship.
After earning a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Idaho, a chance connection through Rotary in Portland inspired her to pursue nursing. She earned her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Portland in 2012 and has since built a diverse clinical career in the St. Luke's system. Officially joining Rotary in 2024, Reese now serves as Youth Counselor for the Boise Centennial Rotary Club, having hosted two international exchange students in the past. Outside of work and service, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and three children. |

Titus Scott Foundation
 Ashley Whetstine is the Founder and Executive Director of the Titus Scott Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families navigating the loss of a child. After losing her four year old son, Titus, in a tragic car accident, Ashley spent nearly a decade carrying her grief before turning that experience into a mission of service. Through the Foundation, she helps connect bereaved families with assistance for burial, cremation, and headstone expenses while also helping families access mental health resources, practical support, and community partnerships. Ashley speaks on grief, resilience, trauma, and the power of compassionate community support, sharing both lived experience and hope with audiences throughout Idaho and beyond.

Classification Talk
 Harrison (Harry) Sawyer is a fifth-generation Idahoan. Growing up in Eagle, ID, Harry had a wide variety of experiences. Given the family’s roots, he spent many weekends on a ranch, fixing fences, moving cows and doing fun cowboy things. When he wasn’t on the ranch, he spent a lot of time being a normal kid, hanging with friends, playing lacrosse, riding dirtbikes and spending time with family. Harry earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho and later received his MBA from the University of Denver. In 2016, Harry met his lovely wife, Sophie and got married in 2023. They have an 8-pound chihuahua, Robie, and the three of them live in southeast Boise.
Harry has worked in commercial real estate brokerage since 2016. During his free time he enjoys Crossfit, running in long-distance trail races and spending time with Sophie, Robie and the rest of his family.
In April, Harry joined Rotary to serve the community he loves and to make friends along the way. |

Behind the Scenes at The Park at Expo Idaho
 Boise Centennial Rotary is heading off-site for a special behind-the-scenes look at The Park at Expo Idaho, just weeks before its planned opening. Club member Anna Sparrell of C.M. Company, the firm building the park, will welcome us to the project site and share an inside look at the vision, design, and construction of this exciting new community space. Plans for The Park at Expo Idaho include nature and adventure play areas, all-wheel recreation features, trails and boardwalks, gathering spaces, overlooks, expanded natural areas, and new connections to the Greenbelt. During our visit, we will see how that vision is taking shape and learn more about what it takes to bring a major community project from concept to completion. We will begin in the job-site trailer before heading outside for a walk through the park site. RSVP requested: Space in the job-site trailer may be limited, and an estimated headcount will help us plan refreshments and site access. Coffee and pastries will be provided by the club. Additional information about parking, arrival, site access, and anything attendees should know before the visit will be shared as the date approaches. Please note: This meeting will be held at The Park at Expo Idaho construction site, not at The Riverside Hotel. |
