Convention will be held 27-31 May, 2023 in Melbourne, Australia.
Is Australia on your bucket list of places to visit or do you want to go back? Then the 2023 RI convention is a great excuse to do so.
The key is if you want to save money on the convention registration, the earlier the better. Between June 4 and June 8, the cost is $425, a savings of $50 per person. Starting June 9th through December 15th the cost is $475. After that the cost goes to $575 until March 31 and then to $675 until the convention starts.
You can go to convention.rotary.org to register or open your 'My Rotary' account on the RI website look under the "For Members" tab and select 2023 Melbourne.
Amy Byrd has been part of the Steering Committee for the Rotary Wetland Peace Preserve and needs to have someone replace her. She is looking for a club member that can attend 1 meeting a month and will be happy to answer any and all questions about the project and get you up to speed. This coming winter and spring will be a very exciting time for the project with goal to break ground next year on this extraordinary project that will be a legacy for all the Rotary Clubs in the Valley as well as the District, Interacts Clubs and Rotaract Clubs.
