Boise Centennial Rotary for August 3, 2017
District Governor to Visit - Terry from the Dairy!!
The District Governor, Terry Jones, will be visiting Boise Centennial Rotary this week. We will be hosting him for a dinner on Wednesday evening, August 2nd at 6:00 pm. Teresa is still confirming a location. He will then be present at our Thursday morning meeting as per our regular schedule. Please welcome him!!

6th Annual Magic Valley Beer Festival- August 5, 2017!!
Please share the following information with your club in the next few meetings...
 
Blue Lakes Rotary is holding it annual Beer Fest this August 5th.  Hours are from 1:00pm to 6:00 pm with last pour happening at 5:30pm.
 
We will feature over 150 crafted beers to sample from over 50 Breweries.  Admission is $25.00 in advance (find a Rotarian for your ticket) or $30.00 at the door.  Designated drivers are $10.00.
 
Local ticket out lets include Albertsons, AAMCO, O'Dunken's, Anchor Bistro and/or Ketchum  Burrito.
Snake River YELLOW CAB is offering a $5.00 flat Rate within the city Limits of Twin Falls.
 
Location will be at the CITY Park located in the center of Twin Falls on Shoshone Street between 5th and 6th Street East.
 
We are looking forward to meeting as many Rotarians from around that State of Idaho that can attend.

Annual Rotary LobsterFest!!- September 8th!!
Join us for LobsterFest at the Century Link Arena in Downtown Boise on Friday, September 8th, 2017, 5:00-9:00 pm
Tickets are limited, so please make sure to purchase yours soon.  
The event includes a Lobster dinner (or choice of entrée), drinks, live & silent auctions, live music and more!

I will be hosting a welcome BBQ for our new exchange student, Isabell Persson, on Saturday September 16th at my house.

Assistance League of Boise
 
Assistance League of Boise currently has ~380 member volunteers working to make Ada County a better place to live and work through our programs.  Assistance League of Boise supports seven community based philanthropic programs benefiting everyone from infants to adults residing in Ada County.  In 2014–15, our dedicated members volunteered over 53,500 hours.  We encourage you to learn more about our chapter and the many ways you can become involved and make a difference.
 
In 2015-16, Operation School Supplies provided supplies to 96 Ada County Public Schools and more than 12,700 students in need!!!
